Learning does not end after graduation. Actually, it’s just the beginning and is an important part of both your personal and professional life.
Listed are a few tips for successful lifelong learning and what you can do to make it a consistent part of your life:
Invest in yourself DAILY
Commit to setting aside time every day to devote to your learning and put away all distractions such as social media during that time.
The average person may read about one book a year whereas very successful people are known to read an average of one book every 1 – 2 weeks. So, if you want to be as successful as the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Warren Buffet or Bill Gates, get in the habit of reading regularly.
Get a Mentor
Mentors have a great deal of invaluable experience to share on what they’ve learned on their own journey to help you on your learning journey.
Teaching is a great way to learn and improve your own understanding.
